If you're looking at this page, let me first say...CONGRATULATIONS! Having recently got married myself, I know what an exciting (and potentially stressful) time this is. Please know that, if you choose me as your Celebrant, I will do everything I can to make sure that you have the Wedding Ceremony that you envision, with as little stress as possible!

If you looked at the 'What is an Independent Celebrant' tab, you may have noticed the footnote that explains that, in England and Wales, marriage laws prevent me from legally solemnising your marriage. However, many couples actually find it preferable to get the 'signing of the register', or the legal bit, out of the way before their ceremony. First, it takes away the stress of making sure everything is done to a legal standard, but it also allows for complete freedom in what is said and done at their ceremony. This means that you can have exactly what you want on your big day! This is exactly what my husband and I did on our Wedding Day!

For our Wedding, I created a service that was Interfaith, as I am a Christian, and my husband is a Buddhist. I have done Christian Weddings, and I have done non-religious ones. I even officiated a Wedding for a Catholic and an atheist and somehow managed to craft a bespoke service with which everyone was happy, so this is a particular skill of mine!

What's Included?

If you choose me as the Celebrant for your Wedding day, I will meet with you more than once, if necessary—either via Zoom or in person at a mutually agreed location. I will get to know you and your fiancé(e) as a couple, your love story, and what you value, so that these things are all reflected in your bespoke and unique Wedding Ceremony.

These meetings will also serve as planning sessions in which we would discuss music choices, readings, vows, and the general Order of Service. I will liaise with your venue and/or wedding planner directly so that you don't have to act as a 'go between.'

I will also make myself available for a rehearsal the day before the wedding, if you choose to have one. I will never schedule more than one wedding per week, so you can be assured of my full availability and focus when it comes to this incredibly special day.

When it comes to wedding locations, I primarily officiate services in the Newport, Cardiff, and Bristol areas, but I am willing to travel further afield provided you cover costs of travel and lodging (if necessary).

Please fill out the contact form below if you have any queries, or to book in a particular date, and I will be in touch as soon as possible.
